The endowment is Griffin MSI's capital fund. A healthy endowment decreases our dependence on annual fundraising, increases available funds, supports capital improvement and provides greater financial stability and growth.

Building Preservation

Our building is our largest artifact. Constructed for the 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition, Griffin MSI is housed in the last remaining building from the fair. Keeping our historic home in tip-top shape takes a lot of work—and you can help.

Ways to Give

Money isn’t everything. Your company and employees can lend support and demonstrate your commitment to science education in a number of non-traditional ways.

In-kind gifts

You can help Griffin MSI reduce its expenses and be a better steward of gifts by donating goods or services. Examples include consulting support, mailing services, food and beverages for events, supplies for educational programming—the list goes on and on.

Corporate volunteer program

Griffin MSI offers many opportunities for corporate partners to support the Museum by engaging with visitors and inspiring children to view their potential for a future in science, technology, engineering and medicine. From participation at career fairs to informal conversations during Jr. Science Cafes, volunteers have the power to inspire the inventive genius in everyone!
