Ready to visit? Here's what to know before you go.

Celebrate Halloween with costumes, trick or treating, smashingly fun science and more!

Two weeks of family-friendly science experiences will let you get into the Halloween spirit. Our limited capacity, timed-entry tickets and other protocols allow for plenty of space and comfort for a scary good time indoors.

Explore a specially decorated exhibit with a “Scary Storage” look at the Museum’s curiosities, take part in physically distanced trick-or-treating, and examine the science of Halloween with pumpkin drops, slime, eyeballs and chilling laboratory sessions.

Learn more about our Boo Fest festivities below.

Tickets and schedule

Boo Fest activities are included in Museum Entry, except where noted. Boo Fest runs from October 17 through November 1, with Thursday, October 29 reserved exclusively for MSI members. The Museum is closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
