Summer Brain Games

Discover STEM in Your Neighborhood

Summer Brain Games is designed to support and encourage science learning wherever children are, by providing free resources and tickets to visit the Museum. New this year, MSI has created free, take-home science kits for families to pick up at select Chicago Public Library branches.

Summer Brain Games Science Kits contain step-by-step instructions and all the materials needed to complete a set of activities. You can dissect an owl pellet, grow a garden in a glove, make a helicopter and more.

Summer Brain Games Science Kits will be available in late July in 23 library locations, while supplies last.
