Bryan Wunar leads MSI’s strategic effort to extend its reach beyond Museum walls, promoting STEM learning opportunities to youth and families in Chicago and the surrounding areas. He directs the Museum’s youth development and college/career readiness programs. Wunar has been with the Museum more than ten years. In his previous role, he oversaw the Museum’s on-site teacher and student development programs. Bryan has completed all coursework Ph.D. in educational psychology from the Loyola University Chicago.
Wunar has completed many live on-air segments for local Chicago radio and TV—demonstrating science concepts and experiments. His expertise has been featured in articles in NationalGeographic.com, the Chicago Tribune and the Austin Chronicle. He has been a panelist at the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) conference; the World Conference on Science and Technology Education; and the SXSWedu conference, speaking on community learning hubs.
