Mint Tea

Mint leaves are favored as a cooling, refreshing addition to salads and beverages in the hot climate of Israel.

4 to 5 servings 


8 teaspoons sugar
4 tea bags
2 teaspoons fresh mint leaves
4 dashes lemon salt
5 cups boiling water

Recipe preparation

Place the sugar, tea bags, mint leaves and lemon salt in a teapot. Add the boiling water. Let steep until of desired taste.
