It's your field trip's one stop for STEAM!

Spend your field trip with the Griffin MSI Education team for your STEAM Stop Workshop. Have your students immerse themselves in the world of STEAM with a 3-hour tour of science and fun! Engage in one-of-a-kind lessons developed right here at Griffin MSI and explore the exhibits that bring STEAM to life! From sounds to skyscrapers to spycraft and circuitry, energize your kids with our STEAM Stop Workshops!

All STEAM Stop Workshops

  • Time: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. (3 hrs.) including 30-minute lunchtime break (lunch not provided)
  • Cost: $400
  • Capacity: 30 students
  • Includes: Facilitated programming with Griffin MSI Education staff, exhibit exploration related to program content, make-and-take project.

  • Science Sleuths (Grades K–3)

    Learn about the science of spycraft! Join our Griffin MSI Educators and engage in hands-on programming to learn how spies use science to save the day. Explore exhibits with our team that bring the world of spycraft to life. Kids engage in making their own take-home spy tool and explore how they can use these tools for good.

  • Sounds of Science (Grades 4–8)

    Learn about the science behind how sounds affect the body! Join our Griffin MSI Educators and engage in hands-on programming to learn about the science of sound. Explore exhibits with our team that demonstrate how sound can have an impact on you. Kids engage in making take-home sound machines and explore how science and sound can affect the world around them.

  • Circuit Benders (Grades K–3)

    Learn about the how we use and build things with circuits that literally power the world! Join our Griffin MSI Educators and engage in hands-on programming to learn connect circuits and batteries to get things moving. Explore exhibits with our team that demonstrate how circuitry helps us to innovate new technologies. Kids engage in making take-home circuit machines and explore how the science of sound can affect the world around them.

  • Brick Builders (Grades 4–8)

    Learn about the how we build everything from skyscrapers to robots using our Innovative Design Strategy! Join our Griffin MSI Educators and engage in hands-on programming to learn how designers go from a concept to construction. Explore exhibits with our team to explore how designers and architects use science and math to make modern marvels. Kids engage in making their own take-home “neighborhood” and innovate and adapt with the changing world around them.
