Lightning: M89 Tesla Motor (c. 1895)

While walking through a park in Budapest, Hungary in 1892, Nicola Tesla had a revelation about rotating magnetic fields. This revelation led him to invent the first AC electric motor. This motor is one of his earliest prototypes.
