Exhibit Essentials

This exhibit is suitable for Grades 4-8, Grades 9-12.

Learn how imaging technology is used in medicine, law enforcement and other fields in a variety of activities. Stand in front of an infrared camera in the thermographic portal and see how computer imaging detects and displays the warm and cool areas of your body. Add your face to a computer database and see how computers color, mix and contort your facial features. Diagnose and “treat” patients using medical imaging technology.
