2008 Performance & Events Schedule
Various ethnic groups and school choirs from across Chicagoland will spread festive spirit with song and dance performances as part of Christmas Around the World and Holidays of Light. Performances take place in the Holiday Stage area off the Museum's East Court, Main Floor. Book signings take place in North Court, near the Holiday Shoppe. (Schedules are subject to change.)

Friday, Nov. 14: Opening Day Celebration!
10:30 a.m. — Join us for the opening of Christmas Around the World and Holidays of Light. You'll hear from the Broadway in Chicago's Jersey Boys—who will "sing in" Christmas Around the World in style—and enjoy as the Museum's 45-foot Grand Tree is lit for the first time.

If you visit The Magnificent Mile 2008 Lights Festival on Chicago's North Michigan Avenue today, find the Museum of Science and Industry's booth in the Pioneer Court (near the Tribune Tower) and look for our float in the Lighting Procession that evening!
