Tickets and Times
ANIMAL INSIDE OUT is not included in general admission and requires a ticket with a specified entry time. The last available entry time is one hour and 15 minutes before the exhibit closes. ANIMAL INSIDE OUT tickets are $12 for adults and seniors (age 65 and over), and $8 for children (3-11). Tickets for Museum members are $6 for adults, children and seniors.
Advance tickets recommended
Reserving your tickets in advance is highly recommended. ANIMAL INSIDE OUT can sell out for the day, especially during peak visit times. Advance tickets not only reserve your preferred exhibit time, but they also speed your entry into the Museum, letting you bypass ticket counters and get right to the exhibits. Make the most of your visit: buy tickets online or order by phone at (773) 684-1414.
Regarding younger guests
This exhibit is open to guests of all ages. A few exhibit panels do briefly discuss the biology of animal reproduction. To ensure an enriching experience for all, children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a responsible adult, parent, guardian or school chaperone.
No photography allowed
There is no photography or videography permitted in ANIMAL INSIDE OUT. However, feel free to bring your camera to MSI to take pictures of other exhibits and experiences. See the Museum's FAQ page about general camera guidelines.
