Inspiring the scientist in every child!
Explore the science behind energy at a fun-filled day of activities created jointly by the Museum of Science and Industry and Chicago Children’s Museum. Discover the many different forms energy can take, experiment with the science behind physics and chemistry, and explore the Science Storms exhibit. Activities include:
- Power of Wind: Make your own aircraft, then see if it can hover in a wind tunnel.
- Spray Art: Oil and water don’t mix, but they can make beautiful art together!
- Parachute: Get a rugged workout playing lively games with our colorful parachute.
- Stomp Rocket: Design a rocket out of recycled materials, then launch it in the rotunda.
Wonder Kids is included in general admission.
Wonder Kids is a program developed by Chicago Children’s Museum and the Museum of Science and Industry, with generous support from Allstate.
