Schedule

10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

It's back! Meet the lean, mean, tornado-chasing machine.

Featured in Tornado Alley, the Tornado Intercept Vehicle (TIV) is an "armored tripod on wheels" used by Sean Casey (Discovery Channel's Storm Chasers) to film stunning images from inside a tornado.

The TIV will be parked in the Museum's East Lot, where you'll be able to see the vehicle and talk with its driver, Marcus Gutierrez.

You'll also be right near the Omnimax Theater, where you can see Tornado Alley and watch the TIV in action. Make a whirlwind day of it!

This event is included in general Museum admission.
