You may have heard about TED, an organization that brings together the world’s leading thinkers and doers to share what they are most passionate about. “TED” stands for Technology, Entertainment, Design — three broad subject areas that are, collectively, shaping our future.
This year, Chicagoans will have an incredible opportunity to attend the inaugural TEDxWindyCity event on Wednesday, February 10. The theme, Creative Convergence, explores the many ways that designers, artists, engineers and inventors link existing ideas to new concepts through the creative process. You will learn about the conscious and subconscious insights that spark and power new ideas.
TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. TEDxWindyCity is presented by the Museum of Science and Industry and Pivotal Production.
