New worlds, new discoveries.
A revolution is taking place—right now—in planetary science. It’s happening so fast, textbooks are literally being re-written every day. Dr. James L. Green, NASA’s Director of Planetary Science, will be at MSI to delve into the latest scientific discoveries and share the most recent and exciting news.
Dr. Green has been with NASA since 1980, holding a variety of positions. He has developed and managed space-analysis programs that allow scientists to access one another, resource data and important NASA files all in one location. He has written more than 150 journal articles about space and data systems and he received the Arthur S. Flemming award for outstanding individual performance in the federal government. In 1996 he was awarded Japan’s Kotani Prize in recognition of his international science data management activities.
