Join us to celebrate MSI’s 80th birthday on the morning of Wednesday, June 19 with a special event and exhibit opening. MSI will salute our 80th year with the Jesse White Tumblers, remarks from Museum president David Mosena, a special innovative “cake” sculpture created in our own Wanger Family Fab Lab and cupcakes for everyone.
After the ceremony, stay to enjoy our new exhibit, 80 at 80, which features 80 rarely displayed artifacts from the Museum’s extensive Collection, carefully selected by MSI curators. Old favorites, rarities and cutting-edge items are on display. Chosen with Museum founder Julius Rosenwald's mission in mind, these artifacts were selected to represent inventive genius and tell the continuing story of progress—and of science serving society.
The 80 at 80 exhibit and related events are sponsored by Pepsi.
