Five big-screen films, one big night.
Don’t miss this opportunity to see a favorite Omnimax film, catch one you may have missed, or experience the premiere of a film on the big screen at the Henry Crown Space Center.
Enjoy complimentary snacks and beverages before and between movies. The Omnimax Theatre will be emptied after each film. The Henry Crown Space Center will be open during the Film Festival; the rest of the Museum will be closed.

6:00 pm - MYSTERIES OF EGYPT
Mysteries of Egypt transports audiences to a distant time and place where the Nile River Valley cuts an emerald swath through the desert sands. With its dedicated team of scientists, the film explores the magnificent architectural feats, awe-inspiring legends, and amazing history of the ancient Egyptian civilization.

The Living Sea celebrates the world ocean—its beauty, diversity and importance to life on earth. Filmed in locations around the world, this eye-opening film also explores our relationship with this complex and fragile environment.
8:00 pm - JOURNEY INTO AMAZING CAVES
Journey Into Amazing Caves tells the story of Nancy Aulenbach and Dr. Hazel Barton, who share a love for caves and cave exploration. Join these two accomplished cavers as they explore unusual locations, like ice caves in Greenland and underwater caves in the jungles of Mexico, looking for important clues about the Earth’s past and microorganisms that inhabit its most extreme environments.
9:00 pm - HURRICANE ON THE BAYOU
