6:00 pm - SPECIAL EFFECTS
This film tells the behind-the-scenes story of a group of special effects filmmakers whose goal is to create an extraordinary special effect sequence in this larger-than-life film format. The unique concept of this film is to bring together the history of cinema and the art of filmmaking with the science of perception.
7:00 pm - THE DREAM IS ALIVE
Now considered a classic, this film gives the viewer an unprecedented window on board the space shuttle. Shot by 14 NASA astronauts on three shuttle missions in 1984, the film includes footage of launches and landings, satellite capture and repairs, space walks and an inside look at how the astronauts live in space.
8:00 pm - TO THE LIMIT
Follow the spectacular feats performed by three athletes - a rock climber, an Olympic skier and a prima ballerina. Encounter the amazing workings of the human body with the use of endoscopic photography while witnessing the complex process behind an athlete's greatest physical achievements.
9:00 pm - MAGIC OF FLIGHT
This film brings the history of flight and jet aircraft technology to the big screen. Experience the excitement of a Blue Angels air show. You will also see naval aviators fly up to 1,300 mph, then precisely land on an aircraft carrier - the most difficult maneuver in all of aviation!
10:00 pm - RIDE AROUND THE WORLD
Museum of Science and Industry Premiere!
Explore a thriving global culture that has helped shape Western civilization for a thousand years. You'll be transported to Morocco, Spain, Mexico, Argentina, Patagonia, Texas, and Canada, to ride with horse-and-cattle people in an active educational experience you will never forget.
