Renowned glass designer Lino Tagliapietra will lecture and meet with guests at the Museum of Science and Industry. Tagliapietra is a featured artist in the Museum’s new temporary exhibit The Glass Experience. During this intimate session Tagliapietra will lecture on his career as a glass designer and how he made the transition from a traditional glassblower to an independent studio artist. Within the exhibit, guests will see three of Tagliapietra’s incredible sculptural works in the area dedicated to “the future of glass.”
Tickets for this event, which include general admission and coffee with Lino Tagliapietra, are $25 and $20 for Museum members. Space is limited. Advance tickets can be purchased by contacting Group sales by calling 773-753-6853 or email groupsales@msichicago.org.
