Invented 200 years ago, the bicycle has been perpetually reshaped and re-engineered to make riding safer, more reliable and more fun. Our new exhibit, The Art of the Bicycle, traces the inventive history of the bicycle and shows how it continues to evolve driven by its riders.

Join us for an Inventive Genius lecture by curator Margaret Schlesinger on how the exhibit was developed and hear the amazing stories behind some of the bikes and other artifacts on display. Then enjoy your own self-guided tour of the exhibit.
