The City of Chicago’s Department of Environment’s Center for Green Technology was established to help professionals and homeowners learn how green technology is cost-effective and good for the environment and consumers. Join us for a tour and see what eco-friendly innovations are being employed in a commercial building. Following, we’ll hear from leaders in the field on what the city of Chicago is doing to become a world leader in the Green Movement.
When we’re done at the Center, please join us for a guided tour of the Museum’s very own celebrated exhibition Smart Home: Green + Wired to see smart technology featured in a contemporary home environment.
Please meet at the Museum’s Main Entrance at 1 p.m. Our bus will depart promptly at 1:15 p.m. Estimated time of return to the Museum is 4:30 p.m. with a tour of the Smart Home: Green + Wired exhibit immediately upon our return.
