We are pleased to offer a variety of shops, restaurants and amenities to enhance your Museum experience.
Amenities
Strollers
Strollers are available in the Great Hall for a $2 charge.
Wheelchairs
Wheelchairs are available in the Great Hall and Henry Crown Space Center entrance. This entrance serves as the entrance for visitors with strollers or disabilities. An ID is required for complimentary use of a wheelchair.
Disabilities
The Museum, Omnimax Theater and 3-D Theater are accessible to persons with disabilities.
Segways
Segways are not allowed inside the Museum, and may not be left at Coat Check.
Elevators
Elevators are located throughout the Museum to accommodate our guests.
Coat Check
Coat Check is available in the Great Hall. The cost is $1 per item. There are no lockers available. The Museum's Coat Check does not accept the following items: any electronic devices including but not limited to laptop computers, PDA’s or cell phones; food of any kind (however water is permitted); personal strollers; fur coats; bicycles and Segways. Although our Coat Check is staffed during all open hours, any and all items are checked at the owner’s own risk. The Museum is not responsible for loss or damage to stored property.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found is located in the Great Hall in the Coat Check area.
ATM/Cash Stations
ATM/Cash Stations are located on the Lower Court, just east of the main escalators, and in the Great Hall by the Coat Check.
Restrooms
Restrooms are located in Lower Court, the Great Hall and the Henry Crown Space Center. New restrooms will open in Spring, 2008 in the Balcony and Main Floor.
First Aid
First Aid can be requested by alerting a uniformed Museum staff member.
Water Fountains
Water fountains are located in the Red, Blue, Green and Yellow Stairs.
