Coal Mine: As of March 15, 2012, the Coal Mine tour requires a timed-entry ticket. A special discounted timed-entry ticket for members went into effect on May 1. For more information on pricing, please visit the Coal Mine exhibit page. With timed-entry tickets that can be reserved in advance, guests can guarantee entry into the Coal Mine, and we eliminate the line at the exhibit. This gives everyone more time to explore the Museum, learn science and have fun—what MSI is all about!
Members Lounge: The Lounge has always been a great place for MSI members to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee or other seasonally refreshing beverage before heading back into the Museum for more science and fun. This spring, the space is reborn. The look is brighter and cozier, with sustainable design elements and new work by Museum photographer JB Spector on the walls. All this and WiFi. So stop in and say hello the next time you’re at MSI.
