Museum Hours
Daily: 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.*
Open every day of the year except Thanksgiving and Christmas.
* Open until 5:30 p.m. on select dates. See Extended Museum Hours Calendar.
Exceptions:
May 26 (Sun.): The Museum will open at 11 a.m. due to Bike the Drive (close 5:30 p.m.)
July 24 (Wed.): MSI will close at 4:00 p.m. for the Member Open House.
Sept. 8 (Sun.): MSI will open at 11 a.m. due to Chicago Half Marathon closures.
Extended Museum Hours Calendar
The Museum will offer special extended hours (open until 5:30 p.m.) on the following dates.
On dates not listed as Extended Hours dates, regular hours (9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.) apply. The Museum is closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas.
