Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis for adult (age 18+) volunteers. The Volunteer Office contacts prospective volunteers as positions become available. High school students (age 14 – 17): see our Science Minors information for teen volunteer opportunities.
How To Apply
Please fill out and submit the Adult Volunteer Application as instructed below.
- Prospective adult volunteers choose between Guest Facing and Administrative roles.
- Please be sure to complete the entire form.
Please note: background checks will be run on all volunteers.
Step 1: Complete the online Adult Volunteer application below.
Adults (age 18 and up): Fill out the Adult Volunteer online application.
Step 2: Commit to your volunteer hours.
Volunteers must commit to a minimum 40 hours per calendar year.
Step 3: Attend a Volunteer Interview or Group Audition.
If a position that matches your application becomes available, you will be contacted to attend either an interview (Administrative) or Group Audition (Guest Facing). Administrative interviews are held depending on Museum need; Guest Facing Group Auditions typically occur every 3-4 months and depend on specific Volunteer Team availability.
