Volunteer Applications
Join over 500 volunteers who give their time and talent to the Museum's mission! Here's how.
Get Started!
Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis for adult (age 18+) and teen (age 14-17) volunteers. The Volunteer Office contacts prospective volunteers as positions become available.
How To Apply
Please fill out and submit the appropriate Volunteer Application as instructed below.
- Prospective adult volunteers choose between Guest Facing and Administrative roles.
- Prospective teen volunteers download and submit a general Teen Volunteer Application. Please note that the Volunteer Office does not offer teen volunteer opportunities during the school year.
Please note: background checks will be run on all volunteers.
Step 1: Complete the appropriate application below.
Adults (age 18 and up): Fill out the Adult Volunteer online application.
Teens (ages 14-17): Download and fill out the PDF application below.
Step 2: Commit to your volunteer hours.
Volunteers must commit to a minimum 40 hours per calendar year.
Step 3: Attend a Volunteer Interview or Group Audition.
If a position that matches your application becomes available, you will be contacted to attend either an interview (Administrative) or Group Audition (Guest Facing). Administrative interviews are held depending on Museum need; Guest Facing Group Auditions typically occur every 3-4 months and depend on specific Volunteer Team availability.
