Feel as though you are actually aboard the great ship. The Titanic exhibit features recreations of several actual rooms of the ship. Walking through these interiors, and seeing live interactive interpretations by storytellers in period costume, it is easy to imagine yourself back in time aboard the the finest ship ever built. The construction of the interiors of the Titanic took more than ten months to complete. At the time, the periodical magazine The Shipbuilder commented, "Indeed everything has been done in regard to the furniture and fittings to make the first-class accommodation more than equal to that provided in the finest hotels on shore." |
