Ashok Gadgil produces low-cost, efficient water purifying systems for developing global communities.  His UV Waterworks disinfects drinking water inexpensively using ultraviolet light. Gadgil’s research has led to the invention of many other safety devices, including an Airvest that channels toxic paint fumes away from the painter.
