The Black Creativity public symposium takes place in the Museum’s Engineering the Future exhibition space. It is free with general admission to the Museum. Special guest speaker Edward W. Tunstel, Ph.D., will present at this year's Black Creativity symposia.

Symposium: “Maneuvering a Mission to Mars”

Saturday, Feb. 26 1-3 p.m.; Engineering the Future exhibit space, West Pavilion.

Meet Edward W. Tunstel, Ph.D., senior member of the engineering staff at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Lab. Tunstel, who was part of NASA’s Mars Rovers Exploration missions, along with other headline-grabbing aerospace engineering projects, reveals the role of robotics in Rovers’ mission and explains his path to becoming a NASA engineer.
