Now in its 60th year, the exhibition is a Chicago favorite and a holiday "must-see." Six decades after Major Lohr invited 12 of Chicago's cultural community groups to the Museum, an enchanted forest of more than 40 trees and three crèches decorated by the ethnic groups grace the Museum's West Court and Rotunda. The Museum is delighted to celebrate the 60th year of a festival founded on unification that became the Chicago institution we hold dear as Christmas Around the World and Holidays of Light.
