Named one of the premier half marathons in the country by "Runners World Magazine," the Chicago Half Marathon is the 6th-largest race of its kind in the United States. The marathon begins and ends on the front lawn of the Museum of Science and Industry and winds through the historic Hyde Park neighborhood – along the lake front and through the University of Chicago campus.

Kids Fest, a family-friendly celebration, begins at 9:30 in front of the Museum. Marathon spectators are invited to have fun with Radio Disney and the Jesse White Tumblers, and to participae in Museum-led games and craft projects.

Proceeds from the Chicago Half Marathon benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Illinois. For more information visit:
