Get blown away this week with the physics of flight. Flight is a balance of four forces: lift (up), weight (down), thrust (forward) and drag (backward). An airplane moves through the air based on the strength and direction of these four forces. This week's activity: explore the different ways to fly parachutes, helicopters and planes.
Download our Week 6 activity guide for materials and instructions. There are also template files for the helicopter, helipad and airplane. Be sure to watch our video preview below as Mindy and Brett run you through the pre-flight checklist.
