Support Black Creativity, Support Inspiring our Children!
The Museum is working to inspire the next generation of scientists and surgeons, engineers and explorers. Today’s children will be asked to tackle difficult scientific challenges related to energy, medicine and the environment. Aligning itself with MSI’s vision, the Black Creativity program’s mission is to inspire African-American children to pursue educational opportunities and careers in the fields of science, technology, medicine and engineering .Our goal is to inspire them and prepare them to accept the scientific challenges ahead.
Support for the Black Creativity program is needed to help develop the educational programs, exhibitions and live science experiences that inspire today’s children to pursue science.
Black Creativity Programming
The Black Creativity program includes educational programming for students and families throughout the year and a temporary exhibition every other year. Black Creativity focuses on a specific science topic and features African-American professionals in the field in hopes of encouraging students to take a closer look at science as a profession.
