Dates throughout the year

In 2008, the first Black Creativity Family Day was launched and has since become one the most popular programs. Family Days bring families with children of all ages to experience live, interactive activities and demonstrations all day. Programs take place throughout the Museum. The Museum’s Science Minors, teen volunteers, lead demonstrations and show kids how cool science can be.

Held throughout the year, Black Creativity Family Days programs are free to the public. The Museum markets the program general audiences and over 125 partnering community organizations. The community organizations are offered an incentive free busing program.
