Shuttle Launch: MSI's Mindy Curtis and Keith Hand
The space shuttle Atlantis recently completed STS-132, the final mission scheduled for Atlantis and one of only three remaining in the shuttle program. Three MSI staff members were able to attend the launch in person, interviewing NASA personnel and interacting live via videoconference with guests back here at the Museum. Now Mindy Curtis and Keith Hand share their experiences of being at Kennedy Space Center to see a live shuttle launch, and some of what they learned about current and future space programs.
