Mock-up an example of your own m.Story to show the class before your visit.
In the classroom, before your visit, inform the students that the m.Story is to be a personal story of their Museum visit. You can show them the sample m.Story from the web site. This will give them a context for creating and using their m.Logs.
Take along a camera on your visit to the Museum. That way, you can offer personalized photos for the students to use in their m.Stories.
Suggest that students use the back side of their m.Log pages to write additional thoughts and observations.
Have the chaperones fill out their own m.Logs during the visit to model their use.
On the bus back to school, or in the classroom immediately following the visit, have the students fill in some of their empty bubbles with thoughts about their trip.
Have students complete their covers last! Cover and page decoration is a good homework project.
