How To Order Your Member Tickets

Museum of Science and Industry members can obtain their free or discounted member tickets for special exhibitions through the Museum's online ticketing, by phone at (773) 684-1414, or onsite at the Membership Desk in the Museum's Entry Hall. Your membership must be active when you request member tickets and still be active on the date you choose to attend in order for us to process the transaction. Same-day reservations are only available on-site, and are subject to availability.

Online Ticketing

MythBusters: The Explosive Exhibition (through Sept. 3, 2012)

We’re pleased to offer MSI members a special discounted rate on tickets to MythBusters: The Explosive Exhibition: just $5 (for all ages) vs. $25 for regular adult general admission + MythBusters ticket.

Members receive:

Bachelor: 2 discounted tickets | Master: 4 discounted tickets | Doctorate: 6 discounted tickets

Member prices on additional tickets: $10 for adults and seniors, $8 for children

Smart Home: Green + Wired (through Jan. 6, 2013)

Members receive:

Free Smart Home tickets, up to the quantity equal to your membership card's admit number.

Member prices on additional tickets: $7 for adults and seniors, $2 children (3-11).

Coal Mine

As of March 15, 2012, the Coal Mine tour requires a timed-entry ticket. This allows tickets to be reserved in advance, so that guests can guarantee entry into the Coal Mine, and we eliminate lines at the exhibit.

Members receive:

Discounted Coal Mine tickets: $7 for adults and seniors, $5 for children ages 3-11.
