Engage in discussion and dialogue with a virtual facilitator on topics relevant to advances in medicine and technology and how these intersect with social issues. For example: Should people receive financial incentives for healthy behaviors? or Should students be able to take brain-enhancing drugs to perform better in school?
The stand-alone experience can be overridden to allow for live facilitation. You select topics, choose the experts or stakeholders (doctors, scientists, parents, etc.) you want to hear from and at various times throughout the experience you are asked to voice opinions and make selections electronically, which are then tabulated and stored.
At the end you can see how or whether your opinions (and the groups’ opinions) changed depending on the advocacy of the different stakeholders. This experience can be used by an individual or any size group. It can also be networked into any existing computer lab.
