Live...from the Heart
This interactive videoconference expands the boundaries of the Museum and the classroom.
Ever wonder what goes on inside an operating room?
Join us as we take you live to the operating room at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn. Watch via videoconference either in your classroom or at the Museum as a surgical team performs a bypass procedure on a patient's heart. Students in grades 9 through 12 can talk to the team, ask questions about the procedure, get tips on keeping their heart healthy and find out about exciting careers in medicine.
