About the Program
We are no longer accepting applications for this program during the 2012-13 school year.
Give your students a hands-on, facilitated science lesson during your MSI field trip by participating in a Learning Lab. Learning Labs are multi-disciplinary and aligned with state and national science learning standards. Labs are offered on Tuesday through Friday at 10:15 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. Learn more about our Learning Lab topics.
Economically disadvantaged schools are invited to apply for a maximum of two free Learning Labs for their students. Schools where a minimum of 51 percent of the student population qualify for free or reduced-price lunches through the Title I National School Lunch Program may participate.
This program operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Funding for the year is limited; we are unable to accept any more applications for the 2012-13 school year. Funding is for Learning Labs only and cannot be used for Museum admission, programs, Omnimax films or exhibits or tours that require an additional charge.
