Explore a submarine, travel down into a coal mine, learn about space exploration and experiment with science in fun activities at the Museum of Science and Industry's weeklong Summer Science Camps.
Children entering grades 3rd through 5th for the Fall 2008 school year are welcome.
$200 per session / $175 for members
9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Maximum 25 campers per session. All campers will receive a t-shirt and draw-string bag. Lunch will not be provided, so please bring your own. Please select from the following sessions.

Are you the next Thomas Edison? Spend a week exercising your inventive genius through activities like constructing a skyscraper, creating a car powered by a mouse trap, and making a water-powered rocket.

It's Alive
Learn about anatomy - human and others - as you explore different types of creatures, from tiny, microscopic organisms to plants and animals. Discover a world seen only through the lens of a microscope and participate in hands-on environmental science activities.
July 14 - 18

Fun in the Sun
Experience the power of the sun, wind and water. Participate in outdoor activities like buildng a solar oven, designing a wind turbine, and testing the water of Lake Michigan.

Science Olympics
Go for the gold! Compete in the 2008 Science Olympics as you participate in a variety of scientific challenges and activities. Each day will focus on a different area of science.
