Community Programs
Children and families are invited to explore science through a range of opportunities that will change their perceptions about science and how to participate in it.
Community Initiatives
We partner with community-based organizations, schools and families to extend science engagement beyond the Museum through after-school Science Minors Clubs and Science Minors and Science Achievers youth development programs.
- Science Minors Clubs
- Our network of over 65 after-school Science Minors Clubs gives preteens an early exposure to science.
- Science Minors
- Teens can discover new interests in science and develop leadership skills while engaging Museum guests in interactive science experiments.
- Science Achievers
- These teens pursue more rigorous science topics, meet with science professionals, and prepare for college and careers.
- Snoozeum
- What could be more fun than spending the night under a real 727, nestled near a fairy castle, or steps from a toy-making factory.
- Saturday Science Club
- Students are invited to join us at the Museum for Saturday science fun!
