Our vision is to inspire and motivate our children to reach their full potential in the fields of science, technology, medicine and engineering. We excite students and empower teachers with innovative programs that provide hands-on learning.
- Field Trips
- Explore a submarine, travel into a coal mine, learn about space exploration, see live science demonstrations and much more.
- Learning Labs
- Students get hands-on experiences in fun, interactive workshops that align with Illinois Learning Standards.
- Science Minors
- These teens learn about science, make friends and meet professionals in science while interacting with Museum guests.

- Summer Science Camp
- Bring science to life at the new Summer Science Camp! Explore exhibits, see Omnimax movies and experiment with fun activities in these weeklong sessions.
- Free bus program
- We offer free bus transportation to economically disadvantaged schools in the Chicago Public Schools system.
- iDesign Competition Enters Phase 3
- Four middle-school and four high-school entries will participate in the final phase of the iDesign: Energy Planet design competition.
