NEW OMNIMAX® FILM, AIR RACERS, OPENS AT
THE MUSEUM OF SCIENCE AND INDUSTRY, CHICAGO
WHAT
Experience the intensity and high-speed thrills of air racing in the Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago’s (MSI) new Omnimax film, Air Racers.
Opening Tuesday, Oct. 2, at Chicago’s only five-story, domed Omnimax Theater, Air Racers dives audiences into northern Nevada’s “Valley of Speed” to experience the Reno National Championship Air Races. At twice the speed of a Nascar® race, elite pilots fight for position, wingtip-to-wingtip, in the world’s fastest motor sport.
In the film, meet 23-year-old Steven Hinton, a rookie pilot from California, whose mission is to continue his father’s two-time National Air Race champion legacy by winning the most highly anticipated and unpredictable race class, the “Unlimited.” From inside the cockpit of a WWII-era P-51 Mustang fighter plane, go on an adventure of a lifetime in this action-packed, entertaining and visually stunning film shot just for the big screen.
